Meet Dr. Kharynn Friesland
Education
Even before I started high school, I knew I wanted to become a chiropractor, so I attended Lincoln Land Community College, where I got my associate’s degree and then continued on to Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville where I graduated in 2022 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. Finally, I attended Logan University where I fulfilled my dream of becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic. I served as the class Educational Coordinator and also gained a certification in acupuncture.
My Why
I grew up playing sports throughout my childhood and high school years, which eventually led to ongoing back pain. My step-mom scheduled an appointment with Dr. Stice, and I experienced immediate relief. That very first adjustment made a lasting impact on me and inspired my passion for helping others find the same comfort and healing through chiropractic care.
Hobbies
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our cat, curling up with a good book, and visiting family back home. When my husband is busy hunting, you can usually find me tagging along with my twin brother and his fiancée as their favorite third wheel.
